If it wasn't for Street 2 Street. I wouldn't be a KI.N.G.

Street 2 Street played a major role in my life. I would just like to share a quick testimony of how The K.I.N.G. Movement changed my life. I figured it would be fitting since it's been exactly a year in which I heard about it, through a ministry. I thank God everyday for bringing The K.I.N.G. MOVEMENT into my life. Although, I have many friends I've never been able to find men that are passionate about the things which The K.I.N.G. Movement stands for. I've felt alone at times because there would be times I would honestly just serve alone because of the excuses my friends made. People would think I'm crazy, but that's fine because I was doing the Lords work. For years, I've prayed and asked God to bring something like K.I.N.G. into my life. I've been volunteering with Street 2 Street ( Basketball missions) for nearly 3-4 years and it's been a blessing every year. However, exactly one year ago, while volunteering for the the Street 2 Street event in Brooklyn. I noticed some cool new brothers that were volunteering, coaching and mentoring these young men. I didn't feel alone, as I usually would at times. So while approaching the brothers I noticed one brother wearing a K.I.N.G hat. The design on the hat caught my attention which then led to conversation. As the brother explained to me what K.I.N.G. was about, I nearly cried because it's been something that I've been praying about for the longest. God not only changed the lives of the young men, but He spoke to my heart that day as well. It's amazing how the spirit works. In conclusion, I've felt like a new man ever since June 2015 and K.I.N.G. has played a major role in that. I praise God I'm not doing this life alone. The daily encouragement I receive from some powerful men of God is amazing. I shared some pictures from the Street 2 Street event in Bushwick, from this past Saturday. It was an amazing event. God moved immensely. Praise God for the men of The K.I.N.G. Movement who volunteered time out of their Saturday to pour into our future. SITL Jean-Marc
