Have We Truly Counted The Cost Of Discipleship???

I have noticed over the years a unabating lost of the "making disciples" mandate of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our urban local churches which is very alarming. I have also noticed the call for church planting by "church organizations," which I believe is good but we must understand that we need to deal with the lost art of disciple-making first in the churches that are already still functional. This has hurt our communities by depriving them of the "gospel message" of Christ, kingdom living, and the relationship with the Father through the communion of the Holy Spirit and the fellowship with the saints of God. I have played a major factor in this by being intentional in my local community by meeting needs and building meaningful relationships one soul at a time. These successes of mine and those who are disciplers or "fishers of men" can be passed along to our local churches who are not fulfilling the "Great Commission" but are being "religious" and not using their talents they have been given by God for his glory. The word of God is very clear in his kingdom about discipleship here on earth and discipleship I believe is the "Magna Carta" of any means of evangelism. So I started by the guidance of the Holy Spirit by meeting physical needs of my local community and abroad by serving food of all sorts by a organization called Table to Table who provides food for those in need who I thank God for and them for there ministry of compassion. May we yearn to win souls and not just have church but be the church.
